After a long day of meetings or presentations, why not relax with some retail therapy at one of Cairns most popular shopping destinations? Visit the Cairns Night Markets and experience a unique shopping experience like no other.
Inspired by similar international markets in Hawaii and South East Asia, the Cairns Night Markets were created as a way for local traders to promote their North Queensland crafts to the growing tourist market. Every night, visitors and locals meander through over 130 stalls selling everything from handmade jewelry to tattoos. Craftsmen entice customers with authentic local items like Akubra hats, Australian wines and hand-blown glass creations. Guests can also purchase all sorts of souvenirs and beach clothing.
One tip - Bring cash, as most of the merchants either run a cash-only booth or charge a fee for credit card transactions. If you or your group feels like having a bite to eat, there are a number of dining opportunities along the Cairns Esplanade.
From venue spaces to menu selections to centerpieces, our experienced and accommodating Cairns venue's staff will guide you through each step of the planning process.
